It's bothersome that people automatically wonder " Can you swim in this". Just because you made it does not mean that it's not practical. The factories don't have "magic" that makes certain fabric swim wearable. They are using, either sport knit, lycra or swim wear fabric (ask for it at your fabric store). Fabric is fabric, you label the fabric from what you make out of it. I made on of these for someone last December. I love it so much I decided to whip up a new one for a tutorial!
